Herb Garden
Created in 2001, the Herb Garden reflects the tradition of ancient healing herb gardens, a reflection on its proximity to the Abbey site where, in days gone past, the monks would have nurtured and healed.
The herbs in the garden are for the use of all, please feel free to pick with care. If you are unsure of the use of any plant please contact a trainer herbalist. The Community Council accepts no liability with regard to the use of any plants or plant parts picked in the garden.
The area was created and is maintained by volunteers on land leased by the Community Council.
